D4 After market Sat nav ideas

Are about to take delivery of new D4 but refused to pay 'bomb' for factory fit sat nav. Does any one know if there an after market integrated sat nav available for the D4 yet ? I know there is one for the D3..Craig

Talking about the too hard basket, I looked at moving the small screen but put that idea into the too hard basket when I started to dismantle the console. I then thought I'd sit the 7" screen in front of the small one but as the small screen needs to be accessed occasionally, I made a basic swivel mount for the 7", still in front of the small one.

The small screen has been moved to the cupholder position before.
Would a mount for the small screen work intead?
Ideal would be integrating the small screen.

Does anyone know what kind of video input the in dash LCD has? Any chance of that feeding into a video input in a replacement SatNav/GPS :(

I know it's unlikely but eh, we should at least check it out! :angel:

Harry from VMS was going to use my car to get one in a D3 and I guess D4. Promises and actually doing something is a bit different :p
on a diffent tack. I grabed a vms Touring 500S. It is ok BUT shocking off road maps. All three laoded version are not detailed enough for me! :mad: bitof downlaoding of toppo maps fixed it AFTER adding a bigger card- DOH

Should be easy enough to convert to a video signal then. Most sreens have a direct video signal input as well as the pc input.
It would even be possible to to place it as a window in the dispaly by spitting the screen but would need some knowledge.
