Having this fault display at the moment, Transmission Fault - Torque Reduced.
No Fault Codes have been recorded on the car in regard to the Transmission or Transfer Case so I cannot diagnose.
Anybody else had this one ?

Does the message stay on all the time or just at start-up?

If just at start up, Transmission Fault usually means the battery is low and needs either a bench charge or replacement.

If the error is continuous then I'll pass this one on to the next poster..

Thankyou for replying.
Fault occurred when pulled up on side of road to "water the plants" and car left idling.
In the middle of a 1300 km day so would hope battery is charged but like you are alluding to, battery may require load test, two years old.
Fault goes away when refueling ie turned off/locked/started again.
Pretty sure I am reading faults correctly, have no problem finding other faults recorded such as 40 in suspension but these may not have been removed from last visit to dealer when I had a potentiometer failure.
It does seem strange to have a display as such and no faults recorded.
I always have problems when passing through the Pilbara, always waiting for that "bong", car lowering, no power, luckily this time just the warning and kept on going.
I only ever breakdown when temps in the mid to high fourties and miles from anywhere, I always have the Sat phone on the passenger seat ready for the call to LandRover assist for the flatbed truck.

Checked the transmission cooler or intercooler for mud or blockage? I got this error ("hot" on the heels of a transmission overheat error :D ) when I clogged up the front of the D3 with mud - no idea how that happened

Cheers,

Gordon

Yes all clear. Spent hours before the trip removing bugs and straightening fins on coolers/radiator while I was there installing my new HID spotties and I have Ally flywire protecting coolers from Grasshoppers/insects etc.
