ARB have advised me they have a Piranha dual battery system for the D4, has anyone else heard this or installed one?

You might like to check out the SC-80 offered by Drivesafe.

Just click the "shop" link near the top of the page, and have a look there.

Drivesafe supports the forum, and is always willing to offer advice when needed.

As a brand, Piranha usually make good stuff, but i will almost guarantee that buying it thru ARB will cost you more than going direct.

Not sure how the Piranah one works but there have been some issues with duel battery systems on the D4. Traxside one seems to ber ok and if you have problems drivesafe will advise.
Also price would probablt be heaper as Basil135 said.
You can eother move things to fit in battery bay or put it in laodspace.

Hi

I have one fitted to my D3 and have had no problems with it, I have the 180S+ so it comes with the battery monitor

The 2nd battery has always kept my fridge cold which is all you can ask

D4 charging system works differently to tyhe D3.
I would ask them what the difference between the D3 and D4 systems are.

Sorry about the typos in last post, looks like I was ****ed. :o

That's probably because it thinks that you have caused enough trouble.

Hi folks, the only time I stick it up a specific brand or type of product is when the device being discussed is, in my opinion, rubbish.

The Piranha isn’t rubbish but no matter what you are going to buy, before you part with your hard earned cash, see what your getting for you money, especially what a device offers that might make it better suited for what you want.

The best way to do this, is to first list the products price and then it’s features.

Now find some comparison products and do the same.

You may be VERY surprised at the end results!
