This may be a stupid question

Hi all,

I hope this is not too stupid a question but it never hurts to ask.

Actually I have 2 questions I have D4 (2 months old) 3.0 TDV6 SE

Q1 Does the voice command button (on the steering wheel) work without the Navigation touch screen option? the manual seems to only talk about the touch screen I wanted to try it with the phone.

Q2 I like to have the clock set at 12hr mode, I make the setting changes and all is well until the next time I turn the car on, it resets itself back to 24hr clock, does this happen on all D4's or is it mine? Maybe I bought the military version:D

Hi Paul,

Answer to Q1 - Voice Command Button only works with the Touchscreen option
Answer to Q2 - I have the same problem. It was "fixed" for one afternoon (a couple of restarts) after the updates were applied, but then promptly forgot it was fixed and the problem is still there. Upon asking LR servicing dept they said that it is now awaiting a more permanent fix from the factory.
