There should be some among the land rover community who would know were I took the shots of the old land rovers.

It does not look like a real 2B either. The front panels are wrong and no flares etc.
The others look interesting. Is it Tassie?

I would have guessed Tassie as well... Looks a lot like where I used to live in the North East...

The building looks suspiciously like the old teachers hut from Licola - was this photo take a while back, as the new owner moved it a bit ago. The collection of Landy's looks like it might be just up the road from there if I am correct about this - the same bloke who moved the hut. Am I close?

Sorry Bacicact2000 there ain`t a prize, but you are on the money. Was up past his place working on a farm just the weekend gone. Certainly a interesting character. He has a Mexican stand off with the council at the moment over permits to put the building on his place. So it`s parked up at his gate for awhile.

Parked up for a while? He has had it for years! It is interesting that he hasn't put it anywhere yet, as it was originally moved after the mud slides up there. The mud slides destroyed the house above this, but this was still knocked off its foundation. Ralph was offered it after that and took off with it pretty quick one night under thecover of darkness so as not to get booked towing it down the lane to his place. Not suprising he is battling the council, I think that is his hobby. With all the new laws that councils have introduced, I would imagine his property is classified as flood prone or fire prone, or both. He is an exceptional engineer and I have seen him do some great work - among other things, He has machined a set of piston rings from an old sewing machine base, and he can keep an old landy running almost forever with just a pair of pliers and some fencing wire. :p

Cheers - Gav.
