Drivers seat

I have broken the driver's seat in my Defender. It is broken on the lower left where the top bit joins the bottom.

Do the driver's and passenger's seats interchange?

Yes , but the tilt lever is hard to get at.

Hi Jeff,

I had a similar problem.

The seat was taken apart to end up with the metallic structure that was arc welded and painted.

Don't ever try to weld it is situ or without stripping the seat.

Actually I swapped mine around to lessen me getting caught up on the lever. I mean, I usually drive it & never adjust it anyway..
