Wikipeadia recons that rural areas mean...
"large and isolated areas of an open country with low population density"
Please show us what you think epitimizes "rural"

I was building up to a spectacular shot for this comp. Well in my mind anyway...
I was heading to the foothills of the Hymalayas for a short notice business trip. But they needed someone even sooner and my colleague who already had a visa got to go :-(
I had the weekend free, had worked out where to take a trip to. You could even see Everest from the hotel window. I have convinced myself that it would have been completely fogged out and I haven't missed anything.
Cheers, Steve

Many thanks Folks,
I really enjoyed the images offered. Some ridgididge Australiana scenes amongst them. I had great difficulty voting and had to call in help!
