Yes. Hard to believe. I have been on this forum for a year. This will be my 815th post.
Whilst on this forum I've me some very nice people and some very helpful people. I've met some stirrers who have made me laugh and some good natured people who have taken a stir. I've also met some interesting and knowledgeable people. I've even met some people I would call friends (both cyber friends and real life friends).
To take a quote from a previous post I made:
"This forum has them all. That's what makes it so dynamic. I have subscribed to a number of fora, Some are so prim, proper and serious that they haven't posted a post since christmas. ALL you people out there, the ones who offend me, the ones who **** me off, the ones who talk ****, the ones who are helpful and even the ones who just read, I thank you for adding to and making this forum what it is, dynamic, interesting, controversial and an English teacher's hell."
How do I celebrate?
Well, I've decided to subscribe.
I thank you ALL

WOW!
Been here four years now. Just renewed my subscription.
Looking back on the past four years, wow. Where I have been, what I have done, I would never have imagined. I've met some really nice people along the way. This site has been a catalyst for so much in my recent life.
Thanks for your input guy and girls.
And to think I stumbled across this site whilst looking for a brake fluid reservoir for the 101.

Did you find that reservoir?
And is it pronounced "res-i-vor" or "res-iv-wa"?

And thank you for the 4 years that you are here, I have enjoyed your posts, appreciated your points of view and I will continue to do it so.
I have to refrain to debate under the influence of caffeine, somehow sometimes does not allow to engage the brain before press the keys in the keyboard.........age I guess

Howzat!
Year 5 down and what a tumultuous year it has been. On the plus side, the Landrover addiction has well set in.
Also on the plus side, so much has happened because of this forum including the best ever (and also the coldest) "Winter Wombat" camp.
Just think of all I'd be missing out on if I wasn't a subscriber. That's why I just renewed my subscription and upgraded it to silver.
Thanks for all the fun peoples.

Thank you, Mick. I always feel a little awkward about using the correct plural of words such as forum, maximum, minimum et cetera. I now will sleep easy.

Ah! I see your problem. I see where your thought processes are flawed.
Posted elsewhere on the forum:
Mum is visiting and I've been hiding vehicles. You see, the family dislike my choice of automobile. "Why don't you sell them all and get a nice, shiny, modern car?" is often heard. If i sold them all and took out a small loan, i might be able to afford a D4.
Anyways, had to go to a family lunch on Sunday. It was fine and sunny and in the low thirties. "We'll pick you up on the way." So Mum, sister and brother in law arrive in a shiny, modern luxury car. After about an hour of sweltering in the mobile oven I asked "Can we have the air conditioning on?", I was told "No." because "It's broken."
My 20yo Commodore would have been more comfortable but not as shiny. Cooler but not as modern. The 101 would have been cooler and that is a statement.
You see, my family would dare not do anything that could encourage my affliction. That book would be on the banned list.
For christmas I was given a box of toffee, a box of product selections from Sovereign Hill and a shirt.

"It Happened In A Holden",....My daughter bought me that book,......which I found pretty funny,......bought back a LOT of memories of my "younger days".
Recommended, Pickles.
