I've organized some dislocation cones for it so all sorted. Tonight I also fixed rear lights, steering bumpstops, dry carby dash pot and the loose tyre carrier. Scenic sounds nice. Day trip maybe in next couple of weekends. Could make it a campout too if anyone keen?

Scenic sounds good, nice and close for me especially. The bullet only needs a battery cable to get it sorted and it's all good from there (doing that this weekend).
Let us know Chris when you want to head out.

I won't have my new tires by Sunday so I'm out as well. Unless you guys feel like dragging a D3 wearing road slicks 'round the park.

I can't make it this Saturday sadly, the bullet has no starter motor (new one in the post) and I have to put one of the Discos back together (radiator needed servicing, plus I may be working this weekend.
Nevermind, they'res plenty of time over the break for a run out wheling. Have fun all.

Well we had a good day even if it was very very wet.
The D2 broke its exahust before we even got to the park so we had a great soundtrack.

Looks like you blokes had fun. Would have joined you but the bullet is waiting for it's starter motor (only made it to the PO on friday the seller told me ).
The rain looked as if it was held at bay out there for a while judging by the vids, it hasn't stopped in Jimboomba pretty much all weekend :(

Thanks Dave for the Vid post
Trav it was wet on the tracks and the black mud was as slippery as.
After the guys left we did a small creek run and showed my cousin so rock action in the rain.
D2 exhaust snapped off just below the manifold as we arrived at the park - really odd to break as not seen any action or bumps so must be a fatigue fracture. Had a head ache by the time we got back to the coast from the noise in the cabin.
Will post some pics in due course.
