Does anyone happen to have an Icom U16 that they don't want that they can sell me?
I have 5 of these wonderfull radios but they are not able to be programmed without another radio that isn't locked.
what I need is one that has keypad programming enabled so I can program it with 16 CB freq's, then I am able to clone it into mine.
Icom Australia can't help me as the radios are too old.
I know it's a long shot, but worth a try.....

Cheers,
Fraser

I thought they could be unlocked with the removal of a jumper inside? Then programmed.

Spot on Wayne, however these one's appear to have been locked with software too as I've removed the jumper, but still no joy.
All I can do is get them into clone mode.
Thanks though,
Fraser

PS, is there a mod on the Delta1 to get it to tx on the UHF CB freqs?
