:dbcry::dbcry::dbcry:
Tomorrow the RR gets dismantled, and the County begins its new life.
After a very busy and full on week, some jobs finished, some not:(, have to make a start on it or it'll never get done before 2011.
I'll be taking a few pics along the way, and to say I am sad at seeing it pulled apart is an understatement. We as a family have seen some beautiful parts of this big country in it, and the previous owner had too. at almost 400,000km it has had a good and full life:)
It will be ressurected later, with a Tdi and R380 probably, but the 110 is to take its place as tourer and DD for me.

Well, not much to see yet except a flurry of air tools and hoist movements and the County is now sporting all the RR's diffs, suspension and trans.
Paul and I got stuck in to it at 0730 and at 1245 had it all changed over.
The Rangie is now sitting on drums, and the 110 is now on wheels:)
LOTS of stuff to do yet, my non A/C dash from a Td5 110 arrives soon, the turbo spec clutch and a new rear main seal to be fitted and then the engine can go in.
Still thinking about cooling system, ally heavy duty custom radiator, or recore the county V8 one. Intercooler plumbing and exhaust system, interior seats etc, paint, rollcage and spare wheel carrier. Twin shocks front and rear and fit the UHF and HF radios, Traxide headlamp and triple battery management and Anderson plug wiring...The list is long but I'll get there.
Pics soon:)

Be great to see you 2 again, 4 weeks??? and NO Defender???:o
Pity the 110 probably won't be ready during that time either...
Anyway, catch up soon:)
