On our recent holiday we decided to tile the patio at our house in Ravenshoe.
So off to Atherton to buy a pallet & a half of tiles, glue, grout & bits which all got loaded into the off road box trailer and hauled very easily & nicely back to our place at R/hoe.
The drive way into the property has some short but steep hills, 1 being very steep & layered with some sort of white gravel to stop the bogging/slipping while going up in wet conditions.
So it came time to drive down this with a couple of tonne of trailer on the back & it's raining so I thought I'll give this big yellow button a go.
How cool is that HDC.
Never used it before (never felt the need) but the car, trailer & load just all gently went down the hill with out a problem but with some strange noises.
So, now I'm a HDC convert. Always thought it was for girls & city posers but it is actually a good thing.
So the Discovery has a bit to answer for!
It's converted me from manual gears to automatics, got me convinced on DSC & HDC, climate control, rear DVDs & A/C's. What next? Soon I will be wearing long pants & a tie.
Just a great car.

BTW no offence is meant to those that are girls, city posers, manual drivers, automatic drivers, do or don't use acronyms, with or without DVDs & A/C's or any other minority or majority groups that could, would or may take offence to this post.
