No it hasn't been photoshopped, it was built for this:

Largest airplanes: Antonov-225 (An-225 Cossack) and Howard Hughes Spruce Goose – bigger than the airbus A380 (http://www.articlesextra.com/antonov-225-cossack-eng.htm)

the jungle vine has reported that airbus will have a repair scheme sent to QA in March to fix up the little bit of wing damage on there A380.

The Russians have been building giant aeroplanes for a long time - from the world's first four engined plane in 1913 (Sikorsky "Grand") to the Tupoley ANT-20 "Maxim Gorkii" (eight engines, 63m wingspan) of 1934.
Both interestingly came to an unusual end. The Grand was destroyed on the ground when the engine fell out of another plane in flight over it, and the Maxim Gorkii was lost in a mid air collision when a I-5 fighter attempted to do a barrel roll around it.
