Exterior fit and finish

Hey guys,
Looking at buying an '03 L322 Vogue. Im a bit concerned about the build quality on this particular example...

Check out the attached photos....

The last shot is the bottom front bumper and it looks like its missing a bolt from both sides in the lower air intake...

The front end clips together and fastened by screws.I've got mine in bits ATM and if correctly fitted it's neat and secure,I'd say it's come from a dealer and they haven't bothered doing it right.They are very easy to repair. Pat

Ours is very similar in very similar places, particularily the indicator lamp shifts around at the bottom.

It has been on my "to do" list for about the last 2.5years to take the bumper, trim etc off and sort it all out but have still yet to get round to it.

I would agree that it's more likely been taken off at some point in the past and not put back together correctly rather than being a defect in build quality out of the factory.
