Was out side today putting the old ute back together. Our drive and next doors drive are on each side of the boundary fence. Neighbours came up there drive leading a horse and pony that had been loaned to them for lawn mowing. They were on there way to return them. Were being the word as they are now in my place. Have a half acre block with a fair bit of it grass and swampy plants. Should take the nags about a week or so to get the grass down. Turns out the missus knows the owner of the horses and they are happy for us to use there horses. So all is good.

They do a great job. Before moving to the big smoke and selling the two horses we had:(, used to bring them into the yard once a month to clean up. We were greeted on many mornings with a horses head stuck through the kitchen window wondering what was going on. Thankfully it was still attached to the horse, and not some wierd god father sort of thing...:p

I must admit that when I read that, I had a weird vision of a sheep with a beer sitting on the ride-on, and the two others crowded round the whipper-snipper trying to start it!

Hmmm our sheep had no problem with the whipper snipper, must have been the breed. Once had a ram called Rambo for a short while. Stay was shortened even more when it scored a direct hit when the missus bent over to take laundry out of the basket to hang on the line. :D
