I dont think I own many, but here are mine:
Yellow/Mustard Coloured is a LWB SIII 2.25D not sure on age, suspect 71-79. Fitted with extra stationwagon tank.
Green Coloured SWB SIII 2.25D, '73 runs like a dream. Picked it up from a local roo hunter and restored back to original (seats, dash etc)...just needs paint!
SII SWB C/R under restoration.
I would have to say there are a few avid collectors out there that would make mine little collection look small!

have you not got ID plates on the firewall on yours?
If you look here
Land Rover FAQ - Repair & Maintenance - Series - Chassis Numbers - Your Chassis Number (http://www.lrfaq.org/Series/FAQ.S.Chassis.tracing.html)
it will tell exactly what year and many other things by the chassis number
hope it helps:)

Mrs hh:angel:
I think the only real difference is that I am limited just to the Land Rovers I need, while you are able to have (most of) the Land Rovers you want. :D
I wouldn't mind a Series I. Surely they are the most fun. I certainly thought so after a short drive several years ago in one my brother restored.

10 in total. Only one is runner, though. I could bring the FC back to life quite easily, though, if I can just find the time. The rest, as I've said here before, are simply pipedream projects.
Dan.
69 2A 88" pet4 (with an identity crisis), 68 2B FC pet6 (dozing quietly), plus 8 others (pipedream projects).

Running is one thing but registered is another thing!
Which single person amongst us can afford to register their entire collection? I certainly can't. But I do have two Range Rover classics, a series 3 FFR (plus a Mk3 Inter ACCO) registered as well as two trailers registered.
Of the others, one SIIB drove up from Tassie to Sydney just on 12 months ago and will be registered again before Corowa. We drove another SIIB (owned by me) around the paddock about 3 months ago. The other two SIIB are non goers (but still owned by me), the two 80" (are owned by me and) are non-goers, one is a nut and bolt resto at engine/gearbox/chassis stage and the SIIA 109 (owned by me) is still in WA waiting for shipping to NSW the two Stage 1 V8's (owned by me) are being wrecked out and disposed of.
The three other ex-Army trailers (owned by me) are unregistered but awaiting a time when I need to register them. It's pointless paying rego when you don't have a place to take them.
BTW my Mk3, a SIIB and two trailers share a shed with a friends thirty odd, mostly military, Land Rovers but I don't think he is a member of AULRO.

However on the point of this thread... as a couple don't you have to halve your Landy count or double mine? :p

I suppose it depends on the Royal we, but i reckon our collection will do....for how many you have......
if it was how many FC 's do you have then i think there can only be one winner there.......

I can... just... my entire collection of one.
Brings up a good point though - the 2nd and subsequent ought to be REALLY cheap - you can only drive one at a time after all.
Theiving bastard governments.
I want a Series 3 SWB - I want a regsitered (or registarable) runner thats really cheap. Obviously some of you have excess to requirements landies so....
c'mon, it's Christmas !

You have far too many, even if they were all restored, you cant use them all at once... so another one cant really hurt.
have you got one of every kind now???

I only have one at the moment, have two series landies at mum and dads place that I would say dad and I have a part share in though. I would have more if I had the space to keep them.
I'll just stick with the disco for now.

I'm sure it must be a sign that you have too many Land Rovers when the list of your vehicles in your signature is usually longer than the text of your post. :p:p:p
To save anyone the trouble of making the observation, I totally reject the assertion that those of us whose posts contain more text than the list of our Land Rovers are just too long winded. :p:p:p

G'day Juddy :)
From memory I think it is only 3.5 tonne or could be 4.5 tonne, I think that you will need a medium or heavy rigid license (MR or HR) BUT, if you have your UK license that states that you are qualified to drive 7.5 TONS then you may qualify for a license upgrade maybe with a test :) somebody with some intelligence in your local registry should be able to help(ask for a supervisor);)
cheers
