Anyone up for a group order of stuff from the UK? I want some diff guards, steering guard, dropped shocky mounts, long brake hoses, stronger steering linkages, etc. Maybe we can share freight and get some discount if we bulk buy. I reckon they should send it free as we did take pete off their hands. Now we have to put up with him;)

I guess a group buy works up to a point - below $1000 is that point!
Where are you thinking of ordering from? I need a few bits, mostly fairly small, light bits.

Also i know Philco is on his way to pick up some more steering guards so should have a look at his. Freights much cheaper on such a big part :)

Look at Gwyn Lewis' site Suspension (http://www.gwynlewis4x4.co.uk/page6.html)
He makes some of the stuff you are after and has designed it based on experience.
He also sells tack welded ready to weld and paint stuff pretty cheap.
I also found out that some of his designs were ripped off and now marketed by some of the big names - personally I would rather buy his stuff and weld/paint myself that send $ to the big guys.
I would be interested in an order from him.

That Gwyn Lewis is very cheap.
I am keen on the weld on diff guards, and some challenge extended front turrets.

Agree very reasonable - not worth making it yourself at those prices He Used to supply some firms like Terrafirma and they simply copied the stuff and now sell as their own.
And talking to him he has done all the comps etc so seems to know his stuff re what does and does not work.
I want some of his raised rear shock mounts so can go longer shocks in the rear and may consider the front ones as well. Can was going to get a set of wide angle prop shafts and a DC one as well.
I have just not got round to ordering as yet.
For those looking at Gwyn's site make sure you click on the DIY section on his site. And note nto all his stuff is listed here so worth having a chat/email with the guy.
