Have any of you Puma owners experienced an intermittant engine stoppage, when it first occurred my Puma with about 7000 kms on it while driving along at about 95 km/hr had the rpm drop right off and the red oil light come on, I stopped and checked the oil and everything possible started the engine and no problem, since then it has occurred a few times at random intervals. At odd times on starting the symbol for the glow plugs fails to illuminate and the engine will crank over but not start.
I checked the various connections and relays under the drivers seat and nothing seemed amiss. At 8300 kms I took it in for the first service with Ditec the dealers in Chile and they could find nothing wrong nor was there any fault recorded.
It still happens now and then and can be very disconcerting to say the least, has anyone out there experienced this????
