2003 Freelander 2.5 KV6 Intake Manifold (VIS VALVES)

So it seems my 2003 Freebie has contracted the rattling VIS valves issue on the intake manifold.

Any suggestions for an affordable fix? Spoke with LR today who inform me its at least $2,000 to renew.

Thoughts?
