Hi all, A while back I had a hose split, so got towed to the local mechanic and asked for all the hoses to be replaced. A short time later i had another leak so was told to replace the radiator, shortly after that had another leak and this time was due to a lose clamp and now I find I have another split and fear not all the hoses where replaced....this one I think is a return hose from the water pump to somewhere....I want to try to repair it myself but don't know the name of the hose part...can somebody help identify it from these pictures (showing both ends).

Is it a normal hose that I can buy or it is a LR special?

Is there is a method to removing or attaching the new hose?

And lastly what is the best workshop manual to get as I intend to start the replacement duties myself.

It is a petrol/gas discovery 2 1999 with 215k's on the clock.

thanks for the pending help.

In reference to your request for a manual, it will help you to get the RAVE disk from the shop on this site,....see top of page on forum for link to shop......about $16.00 and best money you will spend for the car.

Thanks Midal.... to be honest had bought one years ago and now cannot find it so just placed an order, but it will take a couple of days to get here and was hoping for a instant collective brain trust solution. ;-0

Those hoses are for the throttle housing.

You can buy 8mm water hose off the roll or in 2 metre lengths, it should be flexy enough to connect up both ends.

All the hoses replaced....yeah......and now need to replace those horrible hard plastic hoses as well as bleed the system as it's making a boiling noise? Anyway the RAVE CD is on order so all good. Thanks t all for their time and comments.
