Hi hapy new year all .
I am running what i assume are standard 7X16 130 steel wheels with an offset of +33 off road on my 97 130 defender and have a set of road wheels which are Range rover clasics also with what I believe is an off set of 33 .
( I say they are both + 33 as its stamped on the steel rims and in the casting of the range rover rims )

I have recently fitted the terafirma dual rear shock kit and the tip of lower bolt on the second shock is dangerously close to the rims ( about 2 mm) . I have some 30 mm spacers but dont want to be caught using them on the road . Can any one recomend a supplier of reasonable cost steel wheels 7X16 for the defender in the brisbane area or with reduced off set say 25 or 20 ?

Any help is apreciated

Their website mentions +30mm spacers may be req with standard wheels, usually alloys.

I have made numerous sets over the years and have always fitted the wheels back on before final fit up to avoid this problem.

The kit looks good though, may I ask how much?

HI I bought a set of the spacers when I bought the dual shock mounts . But understand theyt are not road legal .
Paid I think about 250 pounds for the front and rear kits and extra for the shocks in the UK .
Iv attached a couple of photo's of what the look like on and off the truck . The work very well were there was a tendency to rock or bounce a couple of times now the shock from a bump is absorbed in one cycle of the shoocks .
I have a lot of weight in the tray/camper so tend to get a bit of a roll and bounce when cornering so also looking for a heavy duty roll bar . Problem is I have a long range tank and the ones I have seen dont fit
