I was reading about it's re-opening on Outers, looks about the same as it was before it closed apart from the overgrown tracks. That rock is a bit of a bugger, I almost slid off the side of that and never had another go.

They'res a good creek run I remember, just watch the roof

Its totally independent to scenic rim and i think there is a bit of tension between the owner of city view Steve and Brenden from scenic rim . But anyway thats for them to work out i made a point of saying that if they can get along and even work together in some way it would benefit both parks .
As for cost i think its 27.50 for the day including camping today was 15 as some of the park was closed due to a landslide . The old comp area is still there bit overgrown and washed out but the more cars they get will soon sort that out. They do have camping what i got to see was quite good they are supposed to have a camp area high on one of the hills that has views to brisbane city skyline and they say you can see riverfire from there on a clear night.
One good thing at the moment is your free to make your own tracks .
At the moment the place does need work so i guess we just wait and see how it goes .

Hmm ... I was out at Scenic Rim on the weekend and didn't see a turnoff to City View.
How far along the road is it? Which side?

Its on the right hand side off the 2 wheel drive access road into scenic rim just before the little hut .

So this is a new CityView ?

As far as I know the "new" Cityview and the Scenic Rim park together used to be the area of the old CityView.

Went out there today with Greg & Darren.
Hey this place is really quite good.
Heaps of options, but it will take a few weeks for the place to be cleaned up.
Lots of tracks are over grown, but nothing to major.
There are some good camping spots to check out also.
They were mowing and slashing while we were there.

Certainly worth a club trip in the future !!

I'm keen for a run. Last time I was there, I broke an axle.

The guy who bought the property seems a pretty good bloke off the cuff.
He intends to do alot to the place, as funds and time allows.
The place is huge, and offers alot of various types of terrain.
A few good creek runs are on offer, but will not be opened for a while.
There are two camping areas, but one open atm.
Some clearing etc will be required.
They do have porta loos so far.
May have to go out there again soon, and is certainly worth supporting the park in the future.
