v8 99 disco acceleration problem

just bought my disco 2 months ago. under full acceleration revs but doesn't go as well as it does under 3/4 acceleration. cleaned the maf sensor with electrical contact cleaner but no better.

Check your revs...
Max torque... 340 Nm at 2600
Max Power...136kw is at 4750rpm

So once you're above 2500rpm not much is going to happen all the time your foot is planted;)

I had similar thing a while back.
Cleaned MAF as you did, even bought a new one.
Slight improvement with cleaned and new, but not much.
Turned out to be failing 02 sensors.
Changed them. Made a HUGE difference.
