Hello....
As the people who went to whiteman park will know pipe leaking near rad went to move and tighten the coupling and the pipe snapped. Probs why everyone was saying it is crap today. Anyway can you just replace with rubber or alike or is there a place/ trick which will fix
Thanks
Tony

You mean the 8mm nylon tubing? Either rubber 8mm heater hose (like I do) or genuine parts, apparently they don't cost much. They last about 10 years.

common issue, the OEM part is about $40 from MR automotive.
theres a lot of substitutes and I carry 2 2m rolls of heater hose for just that situation.

I had the same problem when I got my D2, moved the pipe to clean rad. temp. sensor plug and it broke. I just replaced it with rubber hose that I got from a place that rebuilds radiators, etc. Heater hose should be fine, mine's been that way for about three years.

Lift up the small tags with a screw driver blade and disengage them off the hook on the band underneath. Discard and replace with worm drive clamps.
