Are there any alternative to mouting the rock sliders to the sill?

Yes - the chassis as my Bearmach are.

To the chassis like you would with a cruiser or trol but the radius arms are quite close together so you dont have my room to do so. Any reason why you want to avoid the sil?

ARB mount theres to the chassis, which I copied when making mine, allowing me to keep the plastic sills on. The brackets I made up were level with the bottom of the chassi but ARB's hang down low. I had to cut a few slots in my plastic sills to allow proper fitment.
