hi all,

just wondering what size fridge freezer would comfortably serve a family of 4 and also fit between the front and rear seats in a D2 just behind the centre console (in footwell of 2nd row of seats). Im thinking either waeco or engel and 40L might be the way to go but will this fit in stated location. that way front and rear seats have access to the fridge. looking for 2nd hand which would you prefer and why, engel vs waeco? cheers ;)

Geez, I don't get a slab of stubbies to squeeze in there - never mind stuff for the other three!:p
I do have the seat right back though.;)

:Rolling:
Umm, none...you'd be lucky to get a 19l thermoelectric POS in that location.
Have you looked at the size of a 40l engel or Waeco?
Cargo area is your best bet.
Do you have upgraded wiring to your power socket, and/or a 2nd battery, cause you'd need these too.;)

I dont think much would fit behind there unless you REMOVED the rear seats:o

definately NOT a 40lt:( maybe one of those little '6 pack' ones

MT45FP (40 Litre Engel) is 508Hx631Wx360D - Definitely won't fit. (631W is without handles)
MD14E (14 Litre Engel) is 395Hx447Wx284D - Might fit, holds 14 cans

I have a Waeco CDF25 behind my front passenger seat. Straight off Aux battery , it sits on top of my internal water tank.
Downside is only the dog can use that seat!:D
