Just had the permanent GPS mount kit fitted and its a lot better setup than the rubber suction cup it came with. No ugly wire to the cig lighter, a much better set up.

looks good Allan. does this only fit the Garmin? Do you need the SVX vin no to get it?

I don't think GPS manufacturers discriminate as to whether you own an SVX or not. Otherwise a couple of million taxi drivers would be in trouble.

ha ha! I think that the mount is a LR part :angel:

The dealers were expected to notify SVX owners of the permanent kit. I was lucky to be advised by a fellow AULRO member of the update, I then contacted my dealer and he promptly ordered the part for me.
