We urgently need volunteer trucks to transport round hay bales and empty 1000 litre water cubes from Melbourne to QLD flood regions.

I'm not sure if it would help but is there a surviving target store nearby? If people could get money to you then you could get wipes, nappies, portacots and strollers all on sale. They have boxes of 80 wipes for $2.50 each, boxes of disposable nappies on sale, portacots for half price etc.
I would also suggest speaking to store managers about donating their clearance stock - all the summer clothing in Target (and I assume Kmart and Big W also) are on clearance with Winter clothing coming in. They're not making much on it so they may be willing to pass it on for such a good cause.

I'm more than happy to go shopping and mail things but I am not sure how the australia post system would be going in terms of getting things to you?
