Bout 10 hours time I'll be dropping my Series off at the mechanics, he's going to tidy it up a tad and sell it for whatever someone'll pay for it. I'll get whatever is left after he takes his costs (ie stuff all).
Bit sad. My first Landy, its a '60 model and wouldn't need a whole heap of work to be quite presentable again. Tried selling it several times unsuccessfully, so it just has to go. Probably will end up in the hands of someone who isn't an enthusiast and no doubt likely to get trashed.

So if you're getting sweet FA for it, why sell? :rocket::rocket:

Haven't got the space for it anymore, I'd love to rebuild it but there's zero chance of that until at least this time next year. Heading overseas too.
Unfortunately every practical option has been exhausted.

Surely there is a forum member that will adopt it?

That is a damn shame to have to see that happen mate! :(
If I could, like most, would love to take it off your hands and keep the old girl going.
I hope you get a handsome sum for it and I, like you, hope it goes to someone that will appreciate it and use it for what it is.

I dont see the point either, advertise it on ebay or something as is, you'll get more for it.

Might be kinda useful to have more than "." for your "location". Maybe someone could store it for you for the year you're away so you can pick up the resto plans? I'd consider it if you're in my neck of the woods. Surely an AULRO member would do the same close to you. Be a great shame to see it trashed by the look of it.

I'm relieved.
Gone to a very good home. Total LR nutter and it'll join his D1 with 380,000 km. I went to school with his son.
Greaser was booked out over a month, so he's happy it's being taken as is too.
