FL1 Non -NAS/NAS Question?

Being the owner of a FL1, KV6 late 2001 model, I have often come across information which differentiates between NAS and Non-NAS engines.
Two questions (as I am not a mechanic)???
1) What is the difference between a NAS and a Non-NAS KV6 motor?
2) Which version was sold in Australia?
Me, being a keen owner like to do a lot of reading on all LandRovers and this question has perplexed me.:)

NAS stands for North American Spec
1:The main difference in KV6 is the fuel injection system is different. The NAS spec is drive by wire Non NAS has a throttle cable
2: Non NAS sold in Australia
If the V6 was not dropped we would of had the NAS engine in the face lift version.
