Hi everyone hope all is well with the floods quick q with the hr tounge and towball in the d4 it sticks out a long way is this a problem when towing a 3t van should i have it shortend cheers rogngab

Sounds like you have the D4 receiver and the D3 tongue. Who supplied the tongue?

I used my Ford (HR) hitch for a while. It was part of my old WDH system. No I didn't use the spring bars.

It didn't give me any problems.

I've got a HR one which is fairly long (300mm :o ) but it is rated at 3500kg, 350 ball weight still, gives abit of room to coupling,gets your shins more but.:(:(
