nice! i had something similar on my IIa...an oil drain pan cable tied to the X member with a grommet in it to get the oil out...put the gearbox change off for a while! :D

Well done! I used to do it on one of my old 2 1/4 litre series 2s:)
Are you going to sell kits? I knew I should have patented the idea when I had the chance:mad:
Oh well, I've still got my drum brake conversion kit for RangeRovers, Discos and Defenders to make me rich.;)

After some of the vehicles I get to see in here, some use the total lack of oil as a method to stop leaking oil:mad:

thats just the oil level indercator, ,, very simple, if its stops leaking,, needs to be toped up, :)

Weld a plate onto the base of the can and thead a bung into it!:angel:
