Hi all

Talking to my Uncle Ken this morning who lost his house in Grantham (along with sons house and his parents house..and 3 other investment houses). No one hurt luckily! Ken owns the 'Big Orange' on way to toowoomba which has been saving grace for them, living in a caravan there for the time being.

Anyways he was saying Gratham will need volunteers to help clean the house's which have not been condemned. There is a massive amount of work to do. Mainly moving rubbish and gerniing furniture.

If anyone is keen it would be much appreciated by all.

Best way is to arrive at the Gatton Showgrounds and register.. then they give you an armband for access into the Grantham area.

Will keep more updated

Cheers

can go anytime from now on..

Won't be like Ipswich which was crowded with volunteers (awesome to see). They really do need people who are willing to help. The place is an absolute mess.

I have a very good friend who lives in Grantham, was gonna head down there on the weekend sometime and help out. I'm happy to help out elsewhere in the town.

Ah brilliant Hendrik

Fire trucks will be flushing out the homes but there will still be a massive amount to cleanup.
