I noticed that both computers at home seem to now auto log into the site with my credentials. I assume the server code has been changed to permanently store the login credentials in a local cookie and it just uses that the next time you come back.
I will do some more research on the settings on my home PCs but this doesn't seem like a brilliant idea. Does anyone else see this behaviour? It wasn't happening last year.
There are usually two types of cookies, session or permanent. Permanent cookies are stored locally on the PC so that they can be reused even after the PC is shut down and turned back on. Session based cokkied only last for the browser session and the details within them usually get cleared by simply closing the browser.
I assume the code on the server has been changed from session based to permanent cookies.

Delete the AULRO cookie, and when you return, uncheck the "remember me" button???

nothing on the server has changed that would impact on your cookies.
the server employs a server cookie, a session cookie, and a security cookie that it uses to display pages and control session limits etc etc while you are logged in aulro.com
it is a function of your browser to retain your login credentials.
if you wish to clear the server and session cookies just logout of aulro using the logout link and it will clear all cookies on the server.

I understand now why I thought the server settings had changed. There are two login areas on the main page, one in the top right hand corner and the other in the middle of the page. I had always been using the one in the top right hand corner and it has remember me unchecked by default.
I started using the login form in the middle of the page which has remember me checked by default. I had never paid much attention to the rember me setting.
Mystery solved for me anyway. Thanks for everyones comments
