I am flirting with the idea of converting the Crew Cab into a tray back.

Just wondering if anyone has converted a Puma and if so if there were any tricks.

G'day Nugget,

I have toyed with the idea of doing it to mine down the track a bit, the tailgate on mine is giving me the ****s at the moment, it keeps coming out of adjustment.

I found couple of photos of one recently on nene overland's website, the alloy tray they put on is a bit fugly, but it gives you a general idea

Heres the link..

Nene Overland 4x4 Land Rover Defender 110 new and used for sale (http://www.neneoverland.co.uk/4x4defender110_used/used4x4defender110DU09HMO.htm)

Cheers,

Glenn

Wow..I would give that tray the a real ugly rating but the concept is good.

The steps in the style side just don't give a lot of useable space for what I have in mind.

The UK mindset is clear on that design. The vast majority of Defenders sold in the UK are still Defender 90 Pick Ups (Utes)! The sheep farmers loves them with an Ivor Williams alloy "nissen hut" on the back!

Cute as anything, a 90 ute, but not the most practical with just enough space for your lunchbox!:D
