A friend is planning to fit difflocks and fit 33's to his D2a.

Whilst fitting difflocks he would like to correct the gearing which I am told would be 4.11's.
Where would you source these?
How much would they cost?
Has anyone in Vic done this?
Can anyone recomend some one who can do it?

Thanks

Chuck

Thanks for your link.
The car is going to be fitted with ARB difflocks will they be compatible?
Are they going to be OK to fit to a 2003 MY D2a TD5?
It is intended that ARB will fit the diff centres while fitting the difflocks.

Regards

Chuck

I've bought stuff from fiveSPDDisco and his prices are as good as you'll ever get them, even when you include shipping.

An example:
Ashcroft D2 front axles/CV's

Bought in Aus $1900
Bought from Ashcrofts about $1350 landed
Bought from Lucky8 about $1050 landed

Always had good service from the guys in the states. They always seem more interested in the places we wheel than actually selling anything.

Cheers

George.

Also keep in mind that the australian dollar is dominated the US one at the moment, where as its **** against the pound, so i'd definitely go for the lucky8 option! and buy the lockers there while you are at it, sooo much cheaper, you can get them for $850 and roughly $30 postage ontop of that, my mate dano (the fish) just bought himself one.
