What a great reception, decided that we had enough driving for the day and pulled into Iron Knob to see if there was a van park. Dropped into the pub to get some local info and a cool ale. No caravan park. The owner of the Iron Knob told us he had a 15 amp socket on a light pole that we could plug into for the night free of charge and then allowed us to use one of his cabins/unit to shower and freshen up in. So if you are in the area drop in and have an ale or three, we have thouighly enjoyed our afternoon here apart from having to change a half flat van tyre that I reckon has mud in the bead from being bogged
cheers

Glad the pub is OK. Caravan park closed some time ago. Servo need a kick up the arse or bypass altogether. We pulled in just as they were closing at 1400 (2pm) in the arvo????? Guy saw us pulling in and hurredly ran inside and locked the door. Real nice, we ran into Pt Augusta on fumes.
