D2 Steering Rods and Flexi Flares

I am about to order some heavy duty steering rods and flexi flares but have a couple of questions.

1. Which is better, Bearmach solid heavy duty steering arms with greasable ball joints or Maxi Drive hollow steering arms with sealed ball joints?

2. I have an option of 50mm or 75mm flares, would you get the 75mm if you could. I am going to be using 305/70/16 tyres on +38mm rims, from my calculations that is an extra 44mm of width each side.

1. I cant be certain which but my only thought is Maxi Drive is locally sourced and there fore easier to chase up any issues with, regardless of having to use MR to get them :(

2. I have a set of 75mm Flexi flares and they add around an inch or so over the standard plastics. Not as big of a dif as i was hoping for but thats about it.
