Bad luck or what?

My brother in law was returning home to Qld in his TDV8 RRS. He was towing his new van (around 2t in weight) when he blew his front diff at Coff's Harbour. He had towed the van down and all around Tassie and got this far home when it blew. Is this just bad luck or what? Jim

Bad luck - yes, but better to have it happen at Coff's Harbour than Hobart.. At least he was closer to home..
