Sway bar disconnects

I have recently purchased a set of sway bar quick disconnects for my D2. Question is I have heard that you only require them on one side true/false and which side do I put it on. Oh and yes it's for front.

I hear that you can only put them on the Passenger side as the Drivers side is too hard to access. Dibs!
