Shortly the Defenders going in for service and the usual warranty stuff. Included this time is repairing the very leaky sunroof.
The sunroof is under a full Hannibal rack and tent. Whose responsibility do you think it is to remove rack so they can work on sunroof?

ummm dunno, i would do it myself just to make sure it all goes back on as it should
the guy doing my window tinting would not remove the required leg on the roof rack to do the alpine windows:angel:

I would say yours as the dealer wouldn't be reimbursed by LR for removing it to get to a warranty item.
I removed the storage drawer unit in mine so that they could fix a faulty rear seat catch.

Gone a little off topic but you said what I thought.
Was hoping otherwise, when you're a grumpy old fart it's difficult to get three mates at the same time to help get the rack off.
I do need to get my shower fixed, so won't give them a reason to not fix sunroof.

Got four blokes around and the five of us really struggled getting it off. I wish I had some way of weighing it all, seemed very heavy.
Defender went for service they had it five days (inc weekend) and all done except sunroof, have to wait 3 weeks for parts.
Bagging the Dealers almost seems to be a passtime here, but you do get good ones, besides now being without my tent for 3 weeks they happily did all that was required and at a better than expected price. They had the car 5 days but the loan car was okay (much better according to Government).
Looks like by the end of warranty I should have a well sorted Defender.
