Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has had the rooflining replaced and how much it cost?
Cheers,

I had mine done a few years ago.
I took out the headlining boards, stripped off the old material and took it to a motor trimmer. They can do the whole job for you at additional cost.
I cannot remember the cost now but I think I either posted it here or on the LROCV forum.
You cannot match the material exactly because the original stuff is waterproof and moulded into shape. I tried LR Australia and was quoted over $1,000 per section (3 in a 110 wagon) !!
Search the forum for 'headlining' and you'll find lots of info.

Found it :-
Land Rover Owners Club of Victoria Inc :: Log in (http://www.lrocv.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php't=464&highlight=headlining)
It was $225 in 2005 (doesn't time fly) so check with your local trimmer for an up-to-date price.

I am having the rear section only done at the moment with a fuzzier material - cost $150. I removed the headlining, motor trimmer doing rest, I will refit.

Gawd! How many times has this question been asked and answered?
$110 at Granville for my P38A which is much bigger and includes the sunroof.

Reading the title of the post is your friend - I was asking about a 130 headlining. Thanks though, if I ever get a P38 I know the cost...

I think that Ron was referring to this Motor Trimmer in Granville:
A.A. Motor Trimming
Motor Body Trimmers - Granville, NSW
26 Cowper St, Granville NSW 2142, Australia
(02) 9637 4691
It has experience with Land Rovers and is reasonably priced from all accounts.
Might be worth a call.

I read the title. The subject of headlinings is common across the LR range and there are enough answers here to answer the questions.
In The Good Oil alone there is this post (albeit out of date): http://www.aulro.com/afvb/good-oil/40593-hood-linings.html

Thanks to the helpful responses of others I now have the info I was seeking. I guess if you honestly believe your last post, all I can offer you is this:
