My td5 defender air con was only blowing on the 2 vents on the passenger side of the car when I bought it....well I decided to fix it today.
after a week of putting up with no air con on the drivers side I decided to take the vent diffusers off and noticed that the foam insulation that's stuck on the inside of the duct had peeled up where it narrows to clear the gear knob and blocked off the flow to the drivers side completely.
Well a bit of super glue and it's all fixed and I now have drivers side air con again. Hopefully this helps someone else if they may ever have the same problem.
