Sitting at Bribie Island sweating out a hangover, when I thought that I could be doing this a bit more comfortably. So up with the tent. Look like a twit, but very comfy and not a shabby view.

Such a top day and the tides were perfect. As expected very busy, especially at the lagoon.

all those other people, were you camping with them or just other campers on the beach? there appears to be alot

No camping. The camping area is another 20 odd km up the beach. I just felt like putting the tent up to relax, haven't used it for a while.
The other photos were day visitors with a big variety of awnings to keep the sun off.
The lagoon areas are always busy, but today the whole beach was packed.

G'day Kenleyfred :)
How much rain did you get this morning ? as just after I got home from the pet expo thing at Morayfield the heavens opened for about 15 min,the Bribie bound traffic was quite heavy, there must have been a tri-athalon over there early as a lot of bike carring vehicles were heading for the H'way
Is second lagoon open ?
that used to have a fairly good fish stock in there:)
cheers

Take it that she does not read what you type up on here! Will ask next time I call about the trip where you took her out to the dog recovery day for a hydro bath and doggy gear.
cheers

The obvious next question is..... How did she go?
But being in the know, I shan't ask such an impertinent question. Sorry, I guess its to do with the heading of this thread.

She had a good day (no,she didn't get Hydrobathed) there was a reasonable turnout of people but it could have been advertised better :(

Hey mate,
Just cut and paste from another thread...
Heading off to Bribie tomorrow. It's only the second time I've driven on the beach there. Last time was just before Xmas and at at low tide.
Just a couple of quick questions, if anybody knows:
Is the middle track back on line, as it was closed before Xmas?
Can you drive up Bribie beach at high tide, which is at 10:30am tomorrow?
Thanks for any help.
Cheers,
Kev.
Looks like you were there just a few days ago, so hopefully you can answer my Q's.
Thanks,
Kev.
