Hi,
The remote fob for my 2004 Defender Xtreme is starting to look tatty, and I am looking to replace the rubber buttons. As I have a daughter living in the UK it is possible for me to order a repair kit from
(http://www.remotekey.co.uk/cars/land-rover/Key-Fob-Repair-Kit/default.asp)
Replacement Land Rover Alarm ECU (http://www.remotekey.co.uk/cars/land-rover/Key-Fob-Repair-Kit/default.asp)
(They only supply to UK addresses).
I have also found this firm in WA:
http://www.polmex.com.au (http://www.polmex.com.au/)
who supply button replacements for many makes of remotes, including Jaguar/LR, and I am wondering whether it is worth trying these first.
Has anybody on the forum used these with success? Any information would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Lionel
