be a bit stupid if it showed when it wasn't ;)

beats being kicked off or blocked from doing anything :angel:

it boils down to it allows subscribers on and not guests when it is loaded.

no it doesnt from a server perspective. it allows subscribers on and not guests once it hits the mark i consider to be the loading i dont want it to go over.

other slow downs in the network etc etc, i have no control over.

Well, that straightens things out a little better.
Was getting very peeved with the site last night as kept getting the re-register dialogue thingy.
Maybe more thought is needed as to the wording of that dialogue, as it doesn't mention anything to do with 'subscribers', only 'registered users', which led me to keep thinking that I wouldn't be subscribing any time soon, as everyone is getting the same treatment, so why pay to get blocked!
But alas, that isn't the case.
Glad it's been cleared up, at least, for me.

trying to find some of that wording to alter it, is a mission in itself :p

the place was being hammered last night. not just users but a bit of a DOS was happening as well.

I got the message yesterday,it seemed to go faster than minutes before when I was on without the message.
In the past when I have been asked to login Ive just returned later,much better now.

Guess they figured we drive vehicles not normally gifted with a shed load of speed, then we would be happy enough on slow web as well! :p
