Having a chat with a mate the other day, and got to thinking about spotlights. Given that I don't get much chance to use either driving lights or a handheld spotlight for hunting, I was wondering about the concept of a convertible unit.
Basically, you mount it on your bullbar most of the time, but when out spotlighting, you can take it off and use another cable from the battery. You could have a pair, then when spotlighting the other one remains on the vehicle for driving purposes.
Anyone know of something like this, and or care to comment on pros and cons?

Have a look at Grote The First Name In Vehicle Safety Systems (http://www.grote.com) and Home Page (http://www.unityusa.com)
They may have something you could use.

Have a look at the Lightforce range. They do hand held and mount on your riflescope.
