stop/slow down heat

Afternoon ALRO, Can someone advice me on how to stop or slow down heat building up inside the cab of my 130? It does get a bit warm on long trips ( Cairns - Townsville)

The general consensus is that it is as a result of the exhaust heat.

Hi Natt, the above threads should all be helpful.Make sure there are no gaps anywhere that allow hot air to enter the cabin. Check the place where the heater box meets the front passenger side footwell as the gasket in there may fail.I have not done this yet so am not able to advise on what to look for but it has been a problem for others.Cover all bare metal with insulation such as " Formshield". I am about to wrap the exhaust pipe from below the turbo to the rear of the cabin in order to reduce the heat load under the seat box.I will report on the effectiveness of this soon.Rick130 has done this some years ago and feels it made a noticeable difference.Cheers, 130man.

Thank you all, some good reading in them threads, i will start with the exhaust wrap and might start at the fire wall to the gear box with that silver insulation
