Hi,

I started from scrap because i wanted my front hitch receiver more resistant than a simple tow hitch receiver. Side winching was considered.

I wanted my rangie to use the factory winch tray but wanted removable in order to comply with EU regulations and not to kill approach angle all the time, i did some work ;).

Some may find the hitch receiver is pretty low but that was the only place in order to make it compatible with all hitch receiver accessories (draw bar, Hitch D-schackle, Hitch Basket, Motorcycle Hitch Carrier...)

How much does it weigh? Looks like you might need to reset your heights with all that extra metal hanging out front!!!

Just kidding, very nice work! A very professional looking job.

Says Dave as he continues to dream of the day he puts his discreet winch mount together...

Sure it will be heavy but i'll carry the winch maybe 50 days per year only (sundays events and vacation).

You gave me an idea with you discreet winch mount. I may use my front mount hitch receiver as a stand for a universal winch mount plate later and offer something like that.

This photo isn't a photoshop.

I love the hitch receiver!!

Although the design is very simple, love that, why reinvent the wheel.

Would you be able to provide the dimensions, drawings, etc to allow copies to be made here in Aus?

Regards
Trev

Those have been designed to be sold in my shop. I think i may have a chat with Paul in order to see if he wants those in his shop.

Does it come with the Overfinch badge?

I'm all for it, but it's Andy you'll need to convince ;)

No it doesn't come with overfinch badge only the engine conversion kit will contain it;) ( i'd like to do what i do for that winch tray but with a real overfinch thing in order to propose such a kit. May happen one day). Installed the factory winch tray with oem mounts in order to see exactly where it sits. A bracket will be done in order to pair it with the front hitch receiver.

I like that, it looks really neat and is tucked away nicely.
