Ok, so I have a couple of very patient forum members who have been waiting for their torches for about 4 weeks now. I got a call a couple of weeks ago from my supplier asking If i had received my order yet because they had been having issues with Star Track Express. She told me she'd call me back, no return call.
I sent an email off at the beginning of last week asking what was going on, i get a reply email with the scanned image of the shipping docket showing it had been despatched on the 25/01/2011. So where the hell is my parcel I wonder.
Then I think about it for a minute and one of the courier places in bathurst had a break in at their depot on the 31st of January, at the time I didnt know they were agents for star track express, turns out they are, and guess what. Yep, my parcel was one of 4 stolen. So there are some **** bags roaming around town breaking into houses and cars using a nice new LED Lenser Head torch and flashlight :twisted:
It doesnt end there though. Star track express and their agent in Bathurst didnt call any of the senders to let them know their parcels had been stolen so my supplier thought that it had arrived safe and well and knew nothing off the issue. Why the hell wouldnt you ring the receiver at least? Its got me buggered.
In the end a phone call to the supplier had all new items being sent today so Hymie and 3-Gees get their goodies after a long wait and my supplier will chase Star track express for replacement of the good.
I dont have an issue with star track express in terms of the items being stolen, **** happens but they could have phoned people to let them know, only 4 packages were stolen so its not like it was a big job.
